Hungarian President János Áder and Prime Minister Viktor Orban are not on Twitter, however since 14 January 2011 the Hungarian government broadcasts government news and announcements on @kormany_hu.

The Hungarian government’s tweets are generated from the unified government portal http://kormany.hu. The Twitter stream is a collection of government decisions and announcements. It only tweets in Hungarian and does not engage with its followers, having never sent a single re-tweet, @mention nor @reply. The government doesn’t follow any other account and only has a couple of hundred followers. The most re-tweeted tweet was its first tweet and 93% of its tweets have never been re-tweeted.
