Antigua and Barbuda
First opened in July 2010, @AntiguaGov is the official and only Twitter account for the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. It has been actively tweeting since January 2011 with on average a tweet every other day.

With its mission statement “Each Endeavouring All Achieving”, the Antigua and Barbuda Government engages little on the social network. Indeed in over 250 tweets, the government has never sent an @reply. Furthermore, @antiguagov follows no peers unilaterally and is only followed by one other world leader, the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago. The Twitter account disseminates content from the governmental website and its weekly community bulletin from its YouTube channel. Its most retweeted tweet is the warning from the National Office of Disaster Services: “NODS Urges Residents in Low-lying areas to Move to higher Ground” to shelter from Hurricane Maria, which affected the area in September 2011.
