Governments in Oceania use Twitter the least of all world leaders. Only four out of the 14 countries in the Pacific have a presence on Twitter. Australia’s Prime Minister @JuliaGillard is the most connected regional leader, mutually following the Prime Minister of Fiji and John Key, her counterpart in New Zealand. Julia Gillard is also one of the few world leaders who tweets personally signing her personal tweets ‘JG’.
